Custom RX-2 Race Exhaust Available

Guys,
I have a custom RX-2 exhaust available. This came off Abel Ibarra's (Flaco Racing) supercharged bridge-ported Duece. It was used for less than 1 hour. It was a protoype that proved a little too loud for street use in So-Cal.

Fits Racing Beat Header.

If interested, please shoot me an e-mail or a PM... serious only, please.

Pics of his Duece here:

With a little over $200 in mufflers, $20 in flanges, and at least $200 in piping/welding, I'd say $350 or so would be a good deal on that setup....you think it would be too loud on a streetport?

$350.00 would be a good deal you say? ha-ha!!
thats a complete stainless mandrel bent custom one off custom exhaust system, and you think its only worth $350.00!!!

$800.00 is a good price for that system!!

i spent $750.00 on just a custom header/collector/and megaphone, no muffler!!

custom fabrication is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

In truth, it's only worth what someone's willing to pay, and it's not looking like anyone here is looking to spend $800. Nobody ever recoups the time and money they put into something like that unless it's tailored to the new owner's wishes. Selling someone somebody else's exhaust is always a losing proposition.

What's up Crit?

I have a question for ya....Do you have Heat shields in between your exhaust & undercarriage? Because,I do not & let me tell you...Holy **** you can Boil Water on my Passenger Floor Pan & Tranny Hump!!! Just curious as to what other ole skoolers do to protect the car from all that HEAT!!

I guess it's somewhat related, but you're walking the line on hijacking threads of course there's only a dozen of us that are here often anyway.... I'm not currently running any shielding, but I also haven't been driving the car - just tearing it down for body work and paint. Does anyone know if the original RX-2 exhaust was shielded?

Guys,
We are not trying to recoup everything that is in this exhaust system... although Robert is right, we are selling it at a fair price. All interested have been PM'd.

Thanks for the input!

If it is all stainless, then sure, tack on an extra $250, but like mentioned, it is used. Once assembled and started, it loses value fast.....But it is a ******' killer setup. I need on bad and was planing something similar, non-stainless though.

So what are the pipe sizes, 2.5 or 2.25 primary? 3" main I assume...

yes it was shielded, from the factory, as all rotary models were shielded due to the high exhaust temps
