Question Who in the NE section has registered for the Rotary Revolution?

I am planning on going, as is my dad in his R1 and my brother in my vert. Who else has committed to going? I think a caravan would be a lot of fun. As long as it doesnt rain like last year it should be the number one event of the year for us

I'll be there. It may be a long ride, but it sounds like it will be worth it.

Hey Rich,
I met you and your dad and brother at the Bushkill Falls meet. (Black 3rd gen with 99 front end and wing). Planning on taking my son out too the Revolution. I'm up for a caravan. The more the merrier for the trip out. I am by the Delaware water gap so we could possibly meet by me. Let me know. Also I gotta get ahold of your Dad so his friend can look at my PFC.

Let me know

Ryan

You can only call it a 'deployment' when you are sent outside of the country to a hostile area. You may be on TDY or attending a school or something like that .

Im willing but most likely unable to make that trip... It does look like tons of fun, with the track time, show, seminars and whatever.

Rx7up....its like what 900 miles or so. In a group of 7s, most likely fun!!!!

If RR is on the weekday i can definitely go..... If it is on the weekend then I cant....
Saturday and Sunday I have to be at work at 5:30pm, Mandatory! That's why I left the Mothers Performance meet early at 4:00pm. I live and work about an hour and a half away from there......

If I go to RR I'd have to leave work at 4:30am after working all night. Drive to RR get there super early when most get there late... See two or three early bird RX7s for about 5 minutes. Get back in my car and get to The Bronx to work by 5:30pm with no sleep. To work again until 4:30am....

I am in ohio and drove to indy for the revolution last year for the first time. IMO I wouldn't go back. It sucked, totally disorganized, weather was horrible, not as much as a turn out as I had thought. Not many vendors either. The only thing good that came from that whole experience was getting my car tuned by steve kan.

I'll be taking out my '84 to RR (prays to the god of rotors for good mechanical vibes.) Dad's '87 will not be running, but he's still tagging along. If he doesn't ride shotgun he can take that lame 'Vette he has. I volunteer him for the front of the pack so the cops get him first!

The weather ruined it for everyone, trust me. This year promises to be much much better, pending good weather.

Guys, thanks for the kind words. You all have a long drive and I for one want to make sure your experience is worth the effort. There were many threads about last year so I wont rehash the past other than to say thank you for your input. Your issues were heard!

many many changes this year!

It's not just the tents or pre-registration packets or even the model search, there's more stuff to do. The rotary review, the media center (hopefully showing every rotary commercial made), more speakers, famous speakers, famous cars, hands on classes, a hired staff instead of volunteers, and an attendee run swap meet! If you have some parts to sell, bring them and trade them. Hey, I know if I dont deliver this year... then the past three years of my life are probably done. Trust me, this year you are in for a treat.

Two autocross tracks..one long and twisty, one short and fast. A cruise around town and the rotors vs pistons drag war on Friday night.

Even if the weather is nuts… this will still be the best, most complete event you can attend.

One sponsor will show you start to finish how to install a new leather seat cover.

One sponsor is bringing a bunch of housings just to show folks the different ports side by side and talking about pro's and cons from a builders perspective.

Another sponsor is speaking on the best way to break into amateur tracking events and we’ll let you know where you can track the cheapest.

And thats just a sample of what's instore in the seminar tent.

Better orchestration and more information… I just spent the last 4 hours painting signs so everyone will know where everything is… Here’s a page from this years registration packet just to show you the direction we’re headed. Be part of the largest gathering of rotary cars east of California, be part of something great for the rx community.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you there.

Arrow Trip/Caravan To Rotary Revolution @ Indianapolis

Looks like a number of Mazda enthusiasts will be attending from the MD/VA/DC area, including several Officers and Coordinators from the Mazda Sportscar Club. I know that Ray Crowe and his crew from Malloy Mazda will be attending as well, as they have signed on as a sponsor for the function. We could have a caravan of 15 or more cars, which plans to meet up on the road with a group of similar size coming from the Northeast.

While it's difficult to match the magnitude of events that take place at Sevenstock (if for no other reason, it's virtually impossible to rival any event that is hosted and supported in part by corporate at the R&D headquarters), here's hoping it will be a successful event. I'm all for any (organized) party that involves rotary-powered vehicles and their owners.

One can only hope that April in Indianapolis is half as nice as late summer in sunny California. For those who miss the RR event, there will be a function at Summit Point Raceway on Labor Day Weekend that will revolve around the Mazda Drivers, LLC (www.mazdadrivers.com) track event there on the new Shenandoah Road Racing circuit.
