Any one have a fix for a sunroof that ppops but does not slide?

Mine just broke. LMK if you want detailed instructions on how to fix it. I got some from a great guy in the forum. I am going to do is this weekend, I can let you know how it goes.

 

If the motor is running you have either stripped the gear or have one or even two broken drive cables - it's a pretty big job and I found the quickest and easiest way was to get a complete assembly [minus the tin roof] from a wrecker - if you check in the archives there are several detailed posts about how to do the swap - pulling out the unit yourself at the wrecker is a great place to start!
