Question Do I need to tune for steet porting or not?

Well I am having my motor rebuilt and since it is going to be out I figured why not beef it up a bit and give it a street port. I have the mods listed in my signature and when I finally do get my baby back I don't want to endanger it. I know the base maps are supposed to be good for the intake, downpipe and catback. So my question is with my current mods do I need to richen up the base maps a bit or should they hold up until I get more mods? If I do need to tune it which direction should I go in? Thanks for your help in advance.

Well,
I am interested in hearing how things go, Monday I am sending my FD motor to KD rotary for a street port. ( I took the engine out of my 94 rex, which is completely stock). I intend pm throwing on an m2 intake and m2 downpipe.

I did the same, kkk single street port . Still breaking in but hit
it with 8lbs boost and watched the halmeter- ran rich and good!
I think the o2 sensor on the fc is pretty good. I think you can
inch your way up, or run race gas while tuning- good luck
