ok this is a poll that basis the results on looks alone. Not on the basis if you need one. Honestly which do u think looks better. the 99 with the liscence plate holder or w/o it?

 

Without, we are required to have a front license plate here in Illinois, but I always leave mine off just because it looks MUCH better. It is not strictly enforced because I have never been pulled over for it and even had any authority comment on it.

 

is a hard one. I like both looks. but I think I like it with the plate holder because the one w/o looks like is sagging, you could tell something is missing

The plate holder is the worst thing i've ever seen. looks like you implanted a cinder block in the front of the car. Awful. Sinful. A total abomination.

With. WHen I first saw the 99 bumper my first thought was "WTF? ugly *** plate holder. They should had left it out." Then I started seeing those that people had molded out and it was even worse.

if you have to have a plate in the front keep it but if you dont have to hve one take it out. it looks ugly without a plate there.

 

Uh, guys, the plate block doesn't affect the shape of nose openings, and all a properly-removed version does is complete the surface that already would be underneath it. I fail to see how this silly tack-on piece keeps things looking more cohesive, smoother, or more normal. For god's sake, the stupid thing has its own "have a nice day" face on it.

If the '99 nose looks like its "smiling" to you, or looks like a shark, then it won't be any different with or without that stupid block.

I have the 99's and I just think it belongs there..
Also, if I wanted off, I would of gotten a replica FG bumper.. its cheaper and will chip like hell... My FG Scoot is already chipping on the front..

My point exactly, I don't want the chipping, and I held out untill someone provided a feasable, cost effective alterative, to the '99 but in the style I like... without plate holder...
