not sure if any one made coilovers for your first gen but ground control makes trimable springs for your rear end. http://www.ground-control.com/

If you are trying to lower your car, just cut the stock springs back a little bit. They will still work fine. Start by cutting 1/2 of a coil circle. Cut from the bottom of the spring. You will need a spring compressor to remove them if they are still the stock springs. If you try to cut them with a hack saw, it will take you 3 days.

ISC racing has some threaded perches that sit above the spring. Basically like a weight jacker type of thing. I got them w/ the 125# springs for the rear. I'm currently trying to get my car corner weighted properly. Email me for their info.
In fact, Brad Page uses them too.
