WTF, I went to hook the power up and all i get is smoke from the connection.

I just installed my reman last night, i went to hook the power up (without the computer in) and the positive connection starts smoking and welding its self together... I dont see any point in which negative and postive wires are crossed... Any suggestions on tracking this problem down?

check all the wiring, and make sure you didn't pinch anything while you installed the engine, also look at the insolation around the wire if it is missing and bare wire is showing it could ground out on any metal surface it touches. Also make sure that all the wiring is connected ( if a hot wire end or terminal touches any metal again it will short) also look for black marks on any bare metal that might give you a starting point as far as where to start looking for the wire that is shorting out.
