Question 2 questions... (rpm, clutch)

Okay.... first question: Once my car is up to normal operation temps (around 9 o' clock on the temp guage) and is driven for a short period once warmed up the rpm drops to about 600 which I know to be normal. But the weird thing is that sometimes when I come to a stop my car's rpm's will drastically drop down to the point where it almost stalls. But then the comp. kicks in I guess and raises the rpm's back up to 6 or 800. Is this a problem I should be really concerned about?

Question 2: (thanks for your patience) Sometimes... I mean, very rarely when I push my clutch in or sometimes if I'm cruising around a complex in first gear for a considerable amout of time my clutch will stick. The car still goes forward as if the clutch is released just enough to get the car rolling but it's basically stuck to the floor. I have to physically put my foot behing the pedal and pull it back out. It's not difficult to do this. It pop's right back out and everything is normal. What is the deal? It's only happened to me a few times and never when I'm driving in any other gears (mainly because I don't have to work the clutch as much as I do when travelling through a housing complex with 1,000 speed bumps to negotiate). So... any ideas on what the problems I have could be?

Thanks for all your time and thanks in advance to all who respond.

-Justin

The idle speed control is on the back side of the UIM remove it and clean it out with carb cleaner . this may resolve your problem with the idle. For the clutch try to bleed the cylinders of air. The brake reservoir is also the clutch reservoir.
