I recently installed some GAB Super R's on my car (primarily for autocross) and when I've compared the ride height against one of my competitors my car seems to be higher than his.

There were some rubber pads that fit on the bottom spring perch of the stock shocks and I used them with the GAB's. I seem to recall the GAB instructions saying to use them. Has anyone had experiance in running the stock springs without those pads?
