550/1300 settings question

How many of you using 550/1300 have changed the
Sec Transition Parameter from 1.5 to 0.98?

I use :

Fr Primary: 100 0.00
Sec 0.04
Rear 100 0
Sec` 0.04

550 Primaries
1300 Secondaries

40% transition
0.98 (instead of the stock 1.5)

I changed the 1.5 to .98 months back after seeing it on a forum and at the time it seemed to help.

Anyone notice any differences?

I get seamless transition with the 550/1300 injectors running stock parameters under the injector table but upped values for injector overlap ... runs much better with these settings.

7 3
7 vs. 2
3 1

As viewed under settings5 on the datalogit.

3 vs. 1

and 0.2 lag adjustment for the 1300's

Why change?

Ok, I've never really understood these two settings, so can someone give me a quick explanation? Afterwards, why change? I'm running the stock 1.5 and 3,2,1 setting and the car is running great. What is the benefit?

tia,

Oball - you need datalogit

These are settings that are not available for adjustment via the Commander, IIRC.
