Lucas Oil Additive, anyone tried on rotary?
I am the type that does not like to put any additives in my oil, I run 15/40 and it seems to work wonders on my oil pressure and my car runs great and barely burns oil. I have heard this lucas additive does wonders on piston engines. I have left several messages for the tech guys at lucas but they have not returned my messages.
Anyone tried this additive before on their TIIs?
I bought the car with 166K miles on it, however I can see tags on the engine that suggest its been rebuilt and it runs great. I assume its been rebuilt at the most 60K miles ago.

Lucas makes extremely good products, some of the best stuff in the world if you ask me. Their power-steering stuff works phenominal, as well as the tranny fluid and even the FI cleaner is very good. I have nothing but good things to say about Lucas products, they are awesome
! However...I will be reluctant to add any kind of oil additive to a rotary, just my opinion.

I am running it in my motor right now...Seems to work pretty good, but its making my oil pressure a little too high. After a good redline pull, my pressure is usually nipping the 110 psi mark.

I use it in my tranny, but only because my synchros are very worn. It did a pretty good job of quieting it down. That stuff is VERY thick. It was much thicker than the 75W 90 tranny fluid I put in with it last time. I have never tried it in a motor, and I dont think I would in a n/a. A TII might benefit from the high viscosity.
