A GTU is not a GTUs. Do not post without understanding this small, but important fact. Your post will be deleted and your post count will be adjusted accordingly.

Yes, it's a different model. It's the rarest model of the FC RX-7. Hence why this thread exists.

as a matter a fact, theres quite a few people that i know rather have a GTUs than a turbo.i was offered more money for my GTUs than my old T2.so doesnt that mean anything?RARE!! thats all i have to say.
But it's still a nonturbo rx7 that nobody cares about right
Not really, In racing / autocross, the GTUs is classes very competitively, whereas the Turbo is usually classes in the FD class, where it is dreadfully slow, comparatively. Some NA classes have bans on clutch-type and torsen LSD's, but since the GTUs has a viscous LSD, it's allowed to race against other open-diff cars.
If your budget is only enough for one car, then most people get the Turbo and have it serve all purposes (DD/racing) , but if you race and you like to be competitive in races, the GTUs is the best way to go.
Other people like the GTUs since it's the rarest model of RX-7 FC produced.
So no, people do care about it.
