Help with lower radiator hose?

Ok, so I got this new fancy aluminum radiator for my duece and now I can't find a lower radiator hose that will work. I tried two different auto parts stores and they let me browse there hoses to match one up and I can't find one that will match. My problem is that the lower radiator nipple has a larger diameter then the water pump outlet. Then the water pump outlet shoots almost straight down and is just a tad lower than the radiator nipple and to top it off they are only about 6" apart. The hose in the pic was as close as I could find but was too small in lenght and diameter for the lower radiator nipple. What ideas do you think will work? I was thinking of getting a 45 degree or u-shaped adaptor off of the water pump outlet and then use another straight hose to the radiator. Or what about using a later model water pump? Is the outlet different and will work better for my application? Please help as this is pretty much the only thing that is keeping me from firing this thing up. Here are some pics. Its kind of hard to see the angle but the water pump outlet pipe is lower than the radiator nipple. The hose that is in the pic is close to what I need, as you can see it has to almost twist and go up and have two diff. id's.

Thanks,

Jarrett

On my 2 with a '83 12A rad., I used a universal flex hose so I could make the funky bend...just an idea.

Buy the 2" hose plus a reducer from 2" to 1.75" (IIRC) for the water pump side.

I tried that already and it makes the hose too long. There is only about 4-5" from the radiator to the water pump housing outlet so when I add the reducer the hose ends up being to long and then I can't make the bend back to the housing outlet. Looks like my only option is to take the radiator back and have a 45 degree downward lower outlet, also reduced. This really pisses me off, I wanted to get this car running by this labor day weekend. Now I got to make another long fricken drive and wait another week!
