well, i wanted to share this with my fellow first gen owners and not the lounge where it may be ridiculed, so here's hoping this wont get moved. saturday at 12:56am my wife gave birth to our first child, a daughter. i am the happiest i've ever been and i love this little girl so much and it feels so good to be a dad! she has sooo much to learn about rx-7's and i cant wait to teach her!! she was born at 6 pounds and 4 ounces and her name is Isabell Kate Jones. here she is
i managed to sneak aweay from the hospital today and pick up my paycheck from the police station and thought i'd share this with you guys here. i will have more pics from my digital camera once i bring it home from the hospital. these ones are from my cell phone. thanks for looking!!

thank you!! she was two weeks early but she turned out beautiful. i was in the delivery room "helping" my wife(holding her leg and watching the baby come out) and the birth of a child is an unforgettable experience.

thank you all for the replies!!! i really hope that i can teach her well and hope that she won't be half as bad as i was when i was young. hopefully with a cop for a dad she'll think twice about drugs and alcohol and such.
as for the mods, well, at the curent juncture and after talking with the wife, we've decided to leave this one bone stock.

well, i'm heading back up to the hospital to be with my wife and the baby for the night. hopefully we can come home tomorrow. lets pray that my wife's fever goes down and hopefully i'll post back tomorrow with the news that we're home!

Congrats! Welcome to the club. Our little girl was born this past November on Thanksgiving day. I thought I wanted a boy I love my baby girl. She is 5 months now she got me under control. I was willing to give up my 7 for a bigger car my wife didn't think it was a good idea.
Congratulations man! Thats awesome! She is a beautiful baby! I'll be praying for you and your family!

thank you guys so much for your support!!! here's a little update. basically, my wife probably ist going to get to go home until wednesday morning at the soonest. so, i decided to work tomorrow per my wife's request. my mother in law is staying at the hospital with my wife tonight and i'll stop up to see my wife at the hospital tomorrow morning shortly after 6am before my shift at the p.d. starts at 7am. i'll work until 7pm tomorrow and then i'll head to the hospital tomorrow after work and when i get home from the hospital tomorrow night, i'll give you guys an update. at this point my wife's temp is fluctuating between 98 and 102 degrees and until she kicks the fever for a full 24 hours, they wont release her. since money is tight, she told me to go to work tomorrow and her and my mother in law will take care of the baby at the hospital and mom will keep my wife company all day.
