Don't know what this controler is. Any help would be great. The guy who owned it before the guy I bought the car from installed it. I'm too lazy to trace the wires into the dash. The car won't run when unplugged. I think it controles spark or fuel. The guy I bought the car from said it controles boost, but he doesn't know his asshole from a hole in the ground when it comes to cars. (I've spent hours upon hours fixing his wiring). I haven't played with it much. I know at idle if I adjust it negative the idle smooths and raises a tiny bit. The car doesn't run the greatest, been working on it here and there. It sat for two years before I bought it. Any help would be apretiated.

It says "FIELD SFC-HYPER" on the sticker on the 3rd pic.
It's a fuel computer made by FIELD.
It's similar to what the A'PEXi S-AFC does.
No, your engine will not run if you unplug it.
You basically made your AFM try and run in an open-circuit.
You can switch the SFC-HYPER "OFF" via the switch in the back.
This will allow the stock ECU to run unmolested by the SFC-HYPER itself.
Thanx Ted. I did some more searching and figured it out. I would, however, like some info on the switches on the back (where they need to be set) and some basic settings. I have a hks air filter, 3" down pipe and straight through mufflers.
