ok so im finally almost done with installing my fuel pump, it took longer than expected becasue the plate in the hatch was rusted to the tank and all the bolts were shit!! (all 8 screws had to be broken and drilled out!!) something that is not fun to do on a gas tank! anywayse, i've read about re-wiring the pump to avoind the stock wiring.. Is this something i should do when i finish dropping it in this week? if there has been a "how to" write up can sone help out with a link!?? thanks for the info

I broke the heads off of almost all my screws when I rewired my Walbro. Thankfully a pair of vice grips did the trick on removing the screws. Rewiring is a must, might as well do it while you have the pump out and all.

my car is a S5 Turbo2 thanks for the uncalled for sarcazm and a waiste of space in my thread tho.... i realize i forgot to state the model, but however i didnt ask for an opionion on what kind of car the fuel pump will work well in i asked about rewiring... and no, no shavings are in there. the tank has been emptied and cleaned and the opening to the tank was covered anywayse... thanks to those of you who answered me with respect, im so sick of the little bitches on this forum that try to act so cool all the time and fill everyones threads with bs remarks.... What Happend to this forum, i used to be able to post legitimate Q's and have them responded to without a bitchy attitude, without talking down to the thread starter and Saying a bunch of dumb ass shit when they dont even know the situation... (not specificaly refering to this thread only) back in the day i guess the jackasses were to busy watching fast and furious and admiring all their friends "cool air intakes" on their civics to be waisting everyones time on this forum... This is exactly the kind of BS that sometimes makes me wonder why I bother. I had most of a response typed out with links to a full write-up, my wiring diagram and an offer for any more assistance you might need, until I checked your profile where YOU have provided incorrect information. There was absolutely no sarcasm or attitude and it's not my "opinion". I simply stated the facts. If you'd provided the right info from the start you would've gotten all the info and help you needed two days ago. Now you can go screw yourself. I've probably posted more info and answered more questions about the fuel pump rewire than anyone else, and I'm the only one to post a clear wiring diagram. If you want that info you can go look for it yourself. You don't deserve any help from this "bitch" and I'm certainly not going to bother again after that tirade.
