It's because it's on an SRT-4 listen to their exhuast, hear all the popping when it's revving down? Same reason their BOV is so weird. Something about being an ECU controlled BOV.

In case you haven't noticed, most of the guys on this forum are anti-rice/anti-aftermarket BOV. I have a Blitz BOV on my FD, but I bought it that way and don't really care for it. You might have better luck with your BOV question on another subforum or another forum all together.
That's what I've been thinking for a while now... =-/ When I first came on (not too long ago), it was quite different. In my short stay here, I've seen a LOT of elder members disappear
Unfortunately, FD's are too affordable (to buy) these days. Give 'em a few months, and when stuff starts going wrong, and they blow a motor, their turbos, or both, the cars will quickly be back up for sale, and hopefully someone older will buy the car for the right reasons...
I understand it sounds cool man but just drop it . . . . the BOV question is one of the most asked and most annoying question on this forum from new comers. Did you search first?
the perfect solution
1. first sell your greddy type whatever blowup doll valve
2. put your stock one back on (dont worry, it makes noise)
3. put that money toward a reliability or go faster part
At least you dident have this kid Im you...No offence to you ( JDawG707 ), but your exactly the kind of person who should not within 200 miles of a Rx7. your 16, you've been driving for what? 6 months. I dont care about how "good" of a driver you are... Yes Im 19, Yes I started driving my rx when I turned 17. Then again I autocross, I have never been in an accident of any kind, 2 speeding tickets which were both not in the fd
Please do us all a favor and sell the FD before you either ruin it, crash it, or kill yourself.

I'm not sure how your BOV is setup but often a adjustment screw will allow you to change the rate at which your BOV releases air. This might give you the resualts your looking for.
