Hey ShineAuto, came across this...

Would you all be able to replicate such a bumper, with the LED day-running lights?

http://leg-sport.com/cate2-2.html

Probably one of the cleanest front bumpers to come out in a good while...

What do you all think?

I believe it's Leg Motorsport, out of Japan... make a few club sport-type parts, their parts are very popular with a lot of RX8 drivers...

Pretty damn clean look. Reminds me of the Mazdaspeed R-Spec front bumper a bit.

Combine this front with the oem(style) sides and rear mud guards, street diffuser, and '99 spec wing and we got a winner!!!

Looks OK, I think that's too many lights if you have the headlights and parking lights on.

I actually inquired directly to Leg-Sport a while back, they don't ship to the US :/ I'm hoping to pick one up when I'm over there in July.

Doing a little searching, though, I found http://usa.auto-style.jp/?pkey=&info...&maker_url=leg

which their prices are on point with exchange rates, but the shipping costs hurt. Aero parts from japan always cost an arm and a leg since the boxes are so big. The Type-A price is for the bumper with the carbonfiber lip, while Type B is the full FRP bumper with lip attached.

ill be down for the bumper and sides if this could be made by Shine, price isnt bad but paying almost the same price for shipping is killing it for me.

also the whats the diference between this bumper and the 99 spec besides the LED lights.

That doesn't look great for oil cooler airflow, but I suppose when you mount the front plate like that you're not too concerned

That is why it is important to live in a state that doesn't require a front plate

I should have this bumper in my possession this week. It is being shipped as we speak.

A couple of notes about the bumper. Both options, regardless of lip, are FRP. They are not urethane like OEM. Only difference between the two is the makeup of the lip. One has a carbon fiber lip and the other is an FRP lip. They are one-piece in that the lip does NOT separate from the bumper. The one-piece design was due to "shaken" requirements (Japanese compulsory inspection). It had something to do with the lip protruding forward of the bumper. On an OEM 99 spec front end, the lip does not protrude forward of the bumper. In order to pass "shaken" it had to be made as one piece. Fitment is actually pretty good. And IMHO, the LED lights look bright and great in person!

I say shave the 99 spec style lights off of it and figure out a way to turn the led's into 2 color running/blinker. like white for the running light and flashes amber when you turn the blinker on.
