I've had two pairs of Shine's Feed fenders on two separate cars. Neither have ever cracked from normal usage.

Stress cracks would likely be at fault of the installer of the parts.

Does anyone know... For sure..., how much lower to the ground does the feed style ft bumper sit, compared to a stock '93 FD touring model w/ lip? Ken is guessing 1.5"-2" lower than stock, but he said to ask on here for someone that has measured ground clearance before and after install. (Without changing wheels at the same time, of course.)Want to know the difference with just the bumper change.

Many thanks,
Steampunk Motorz

This is the closest comparison pic you'll probably find on the net. My car is running 18 inch wheels. I believe the other cars parked next to my car are running 17's and stock 16's

We have a decade of positive history of fitment and construction quality for replica parts. What other replica company in the world can make that claim? You'll be happy with the parts . Just email us or give us a call.

Will you be producing the feed hood for next year?

Yes, I want to know about the Feed hood too. Will it go back in to production?

It should be this year, but we're still perfecting the prototype. It will be our best version yet.

Cool. Will it be revised? I saw two in person and they both had a bit of gap between the bumper to hood.

From the issues we've had with the hood, a bumper to hood gap was never there. Could possibly be a front bumper sagging as that happens often on FD's. Mounting holes widen up over time from vibration and the bumper falls a bit.

The hood will definitely be revised for perfection.

Yes, it's been done countless times. However I'd strongly urge you to at least get the front fenders as it flows MUCH better than without.

Turn signals you can get on RHDjapan new , but the lens cover you will have to find somewhere else as Feed won't sell it to you unless you have an authentic bumper and receipt.

I got both the turn signals and the lens covers from the for sale section here, but have only seen them come up a handful of times.

I just wanted to note: Moving forward, all of our Feed style bumpers will have convenient mounting provisions for the lense covers. You won't have to remove the bumper just to remove the lense covers.

There will be a few other details added that I will describe in the coming weeks.

* Lens covers will only be sold exclusively to those who have our bumper. Proof of purchase in our records or through our distributors.

Any idea on what the cost of the lenses will be?

Ken,

Are you still making your FD Feed front and rear fenders? They seem to be missing from your web site.
