Well, if I'm gonna go through with this, here is probably the place to make the announcement.

I've decided to sell my car. I just don't drive it anymore, and I've since bought an airplane. It's a lot nice to go do 30 minutes of aerobatics without having to reserve (or pay) for a track, or get a group together and fly formation. I still love the 7, I just think someone else could enjoy it more than I do nowadays.

<sigh>

Aw, that sucks! I know how you feel! A Airplane? How cool....

Lol, funny, I was just thinking about FL guys .... and this thread popped in my Email.

So.... My rx-7 completely died sometime last year in between me being pregnant with my little girl, and having her. My father towed her from CO to Polk City, FL (about an hour outside Orlando)... and it has kinda been sitting since Mid Jan 2013. My brother will eventually get to it, he's working on his GSL-SE. Anyone busy around that area wanna take a look at her and help her get back on the road? LOL!

I moved back to Pensacola End of Aug-ish. My job decided to tell me I'm no good for you and let me go .... Been looking for work since.. Anyone know of anyone hiring? I can do anything.... (just about :P )... and provide you a cool list of my job history

Ha ha... How's everyone doing in the new year?

Jon, sucks to hear you're selling, but probably makes sense if you never drive it.

I replaced my black fd with a CYM about 6 years ago. It's been apart off and on, but just got it back on the road around a month ago.

I was cleaning up some stuff in the garage yesterday and found an old mrccfl pass to the Rolex 24hr. I think it was from the year we all threw in on the suite. One year at the rolex we all met up at Olive Garden for dinner. You came outside after we ate to find a truck parked so close to the drivers side of your FD that there was no way you were getting in it. You didn't know it was my truck (and a joke) at the time and got all wound up. Lol fun times.

Just as long as there is a club we should be happy. I am charter member #13 in 1996 and was a member of the local rx7 club before this one. Everyone should have a say but keep the club together. Yes I personally do not go to any of the meets anymore but I have worked for Mazda in the Orlando area since 1979. I just hope Mazda brings back their soul which is the rotary. Zoom Zoom and a Mazda ummmm.

Hell why not resurrect...it's close to Halloween...lol.
Im still here lurking also. My cousin has a 1st gen just sitting not doing anything with, been telling him he's gonna come home and find it missing one day. As I've been getting the itch to get back into the rotary scene.
