Ps. If the misses is looking for some companionship that can relate to her situation, my fiance and her friends do brunch almost every Sunday. Girls doing their thing I guess. Let me know if she is interested. They usually go to niceville or Destin for their brunch and shopping.

I just got back in august. Prayers for you. It was my third trip. I'll have to hit you up when you get back. If you need anything while you're there, just hit me up. Always down to take care of my fellow service members. PM me your address with a little wish list. I'll send you guys a care package.

Good to see this thread coming back to life. I live in Tallahassee full time and do full builds, porting and fab work etc. I'd be more than happy to help out any of you guys for the low on account of respect for our Veterans! Just finished a good friends FC from Ft. Walton beach and stopped his bill for Veterans Day. Did the rest of his work on my time. Let me know if you guys want to meet up sometime soon! I'm bringing this car bak to FWB from here sometime next week if any of you guys want to hang for beers!

Native you able to modify oil pans and recreate an engine cradle? The one I created is sitting a bit too low for my comfort.
I'll def be down for more get togethers once I'm back from this deployment.

hi not sure if anyone would remember me, but I've been back in florida since 2013, but leaving soon as husband and I will be pcs'd to our first duty.... but wondering if you all know of any good rolling bodies that just need a engine (2nd gen s5 preferably) that I can buy fairly cheap. I found one on CL in hoover, AL but the guy isnt responding and just posted the add a few days ago :/ My current 'vert s5 has a electrical issue that cannot be resolved, and the car has been sitting at my brother's house for almost 2 years (has a new motor less than 1k miles, mild SP, rb header, straight pipe). I'm wanting to get the car up and running or try to before we move in a month to take with me... lol
glad to see the panhandle is still going strong... after so many years.

specs on build
I got the car after I beat the old owner in a race and he blew the engine ( I was in my built 08 speed3 rockin a holset hx35 @28psi very ZOOM ZOOM!!) any who he tried to pull the engine apart ended up droping a nut in the engine so I got it off him cheap. pulled the engine out and had dale clark help me build it (local guy big on the forum) he was a great help. any who over the last year I have been on and off working on it. I also moved and have been a full time student so its been hell. anyway so far this is what I got.
As of today I have done EVERY thing my self (except engine build) tho I helped dale every step of the way. I have learned a lot with this car (its my second project car) and have loved/hated every minute of it hahaha.
p.s. car was stock with stock twins when I got it.
-large street port (ported myself)
-borg warner S360
-apexi FMIC
-550,1680 injectors
-power fc/commander/datalogit
-sakebomb AEM smart coils
-CJ motorsports fuel system (primary and secondary)
-custom Teflon stainless steel fuel lines....... (see picture below!!!) safety first
-walbro 460 pump (relay wire)
-apexi avcr
- brand new milspec harness
cant think of any other power adders at the moment, but lots of other little things here and there.
how it looked when I got it
how it looks now
Safety first.... gasoline in my eye while making the fuel lines and I was wearing contacts (they melted). let me tell ya first and last time I make that mistake, still smiling tho hahaha

Scheduling a gathering
Hey there Panhandle,
First off, welcome Austin!
Secondly,
June 20 at 2PM (pending weather)
Where: Sorabal in Crestview
Address: 172 Woodruff Ave E, Crestview, FL 32536
Let me know who all is going to be there. I'll reserve parking with the owner. The restaurant is usually closed between 2 and 5 but if we have a big enough group, I'm sure I can get the restaurant open for us. The bar will be open and the "bar food" should be good (and it's good). Bar is outside so we'll be able to mingle.
Starting Attendance List:
1) Ryan Langlois (white FD)

Also Austin I can do whatever you like as long as you can bring me the car. I'm in Tallahassee.
You too Bucky as long as you're not Buckey Laing. Hahah. Again bring me the car and I can get it fixed right up.
Also I'm pretty sure I'm one of very few people in this area not in any sort of military. Hahah

Hey guys I'm Mike, I'm down to meet up. Bought an 89 convertible a few months ago and havent driven or tinkered with it much. Mostly due to my lack of knowledge I'm slowly getting a plan together but its a pretty small project so far.
