Old guys with 12As club meeting
Rotary Freak
That's a nice present Robert.
Who's coming out tomorrow night for the last OGTA meeting of 2014? For those that don't keep up with OGTA on facebook, there were a couple of wonderful announcements over the the Thanksgiving holiday by a couple of our rotorheads.
We had such a great turn out last month, and the weather is going to be even better tomorrow night. See everyone then.

Cars and Coffee in Charlotte (rain date from last weekend). Expecting lots o rotary folks there. Come on up OGTAs if you dare. Be there at 7:30 a.m. sharp! I'll post some pictures of it later tomorrow.
So Dr. Farrell, where's the pics?
You expect us to travel all the way up there into Yankee territory for a coffee meeting we haven't even seen any pictures of yet?
I posted pics of the OGTA meetings for two years before we started getting out-of-staters!

Decided I'm going to start looking into another rx7. The very just seems like a money pit at this point, too many previous owners taking too many shortcuts- going to end up costing well over a grand just to even get it back to a usable base to start modding on. If I pick another up, ill be able to use this for the track or parts or summer car. So if anyone sees a decent coupe or vert (prefer coupe) shell for cheap or a decently priced full car, feel free to let me know! (1984-1992 preferred)
If it's money you want to save and fun you want to have, you can't go wrong with a 1st gen.
There are really good deals coming up all the time, so the best strategy is to wait and pounce.
But to get you started, here's one that looks like it's been well cared for:

I know you Old Dudes already know this, but Point of Information for the Newbies:
According to the Hindu calendar, 2015 is the Year of the 12A.
Happy New Year all you OGTA's!

Yeah I actually called him on that one, it sold nearly immediately, he just didn't take the ad down lol. Its a sweet car tho. Very clean.
Decided that perhaps I'm better off just putting the time money and effort into the one I have amd not to be discouraged. So that's the plan as far as now. I found this guy about two hours from me with very in terrible shape but I might be able to pick it up for a couple hundred and just use it for parts. It has a running engine too which could be of assistance down the line, even tho its NA
