Robert your wife would look great driving around in that RX-4, fully restored with white paint to match the SA.

Go for it! (And save Billy's marriage).

I don't have one, but if I was really wanting one quickly I'd go to ebay and search "1984 Rx7 strut", refine to 'used', and probably find several.

I'm glad to see interest in my 4. Honestly, all I know about it is that it's a rolling chassis. No motor or trans. Everything Ray can find in there, is what it's got. I have no idea what's going on rust wise or anything like that. The only reason I'm selling is because of my stolen motorcycle situation, along with my DD dying slowly. BMW parts aren't cheap. Two valves for that thing cost as much as that RX4 cost me....

I really hate to see it go, and I'd hate to see it end a marriage! lol

Yeah, Cathy and I have that arrangement too, she completely understands.

Still, she'll be real happy to see that thing out the driveway, so you guys work something out, OK?

Then she'll make me some really nice dinner.

Hey Ray,

What does the interior look like?

Complete?
How does it look?
Was it an automatic?

So I took a good look at Kevin's RX-4 today and I must say, she has potential.

As far as I can see, there is no serious rust anywhere, wheel wells, rocker panels and undercarriage look free of rust or other damage.

The inside and outside trim appears to be all there and the grill and rear panels are very nice.

The interior will need some help, although most of the original interior details are still there and will shine up nicely. The headliner is in good shape and can probably be used as is.

It had a standard transmission, but no engine or transmission present now. There's a drive shaft snd both front and rear suspension are intact.

Should make an excellent restoration project, if nobody buys it and Quad signs it over to me, I'll put a 12A in it and give it to Cathy for her birthday.

Here's the pics

Ray, grab that coozy out of the back seat of Quad's RX-4. I'll need that next time I come to your house.

Damn, Dean that car looks good. You should bring it out to an OGTA meet and show it off. Or, you could let Ray drive out to a meet. He is going through rotary withdrawls. He's not getting enough rotary fumes.

Hmmmmm..........

If that RX-4 disappears from my drive this weekend I might have the courage to ask Cathy about the cores. Do you know what years they are from?

I might be needing some more yard art if the 4 finds a home and 12As make great yard art.
