I got mine less than 20 miles from my house, so don't use that as an excuse Ray.

Sorry, I kind of dropped off the face of the earth for a little while I've been busy with an online class I am taking and, oh yeah, the bone marrow transplant thing has been taking up some time. Here's an update:
We are all set to start Miclelle's bone marrow transplant next Thursday (5/24). Her sister is a perfect match donor and insurance approved the transplant this week. Michelle will start chemo on 5/24 and receive her sister's stem cells on 5/30.
The recovery from this can be long and there is risk of rejection. But, this could be the cure for the cancers Michelle has been fighting.
If ya'll think of it, put in a special request to the Rotary Gods to keep an eye on Michelle.
Hope to see everyone at the June OGTA. Billy, you gonna drive the new FD to the June meet?

Thanks for the update Mike, we think about you guys every day. We know this will be a critical time, let us know if there's anything we can do to help out.
If you could nominate anybody you know from the Crossroads Group or OGTA (except me) as Moderator of the RX-7 Forum SE Section, who would it be?
On another note, you guys are getting really Old.
Did you notice that 3 of the last 4 posts on this thread were by guys with 10 Rotor Badges? And I'll be getting a 10 Rotor Badge of my own in two months.
I should be back down in september, Jens cousin is getting married and her rich *** uncle is paying to fly all of us down and put us up and rent us cars, plus tons of free booze and **** I cant pass up!
Since you have summers off and have tenure, I nominate Ray to be the moderator.

I second this nomination.
I finally got a chance to work on the FC today- the O2 sensor wire was broken, it had an original 180K pulsation dampener on it, the fuel lines looked original, the alternator belts would let out an occasional yelp, yada yada. I still haven't buttoned it back together, but it will have new fuel lines from the firewall, a new firewall fuel filter, a blocked off EGR valve, a new and working O2 sensor, tight alternator/ water pump belts, and a few other things. I hope to tackle the quarter panel sometime soon since school is out now.

No paradox really. SE's are considered experimental FB's and as a result are allowed 1 full 12A equivalency, even though they are fuel injected and have an unnecessarily large rotary engine.
Obviously, this experiment didn't work out very well, since it led to a long and declining line of increasingly irrelevant rotary powered sports cars. Only the SA's and FB's have retained their luster.
Power adders are great, as long as they are added to a 12A installed in an SA, FB or some other interesting and creative project.
Since Tim works at home and is on the computer 24 hours a day (that's what his wife says, anyway) I nominate Tim for the new SE moderator.
Quick update on Michelle. She went in the hospital yesterday (5/24) and is receiving chemo, preparing for the bone marrow transplant next Wednesday (5/30). So far so good.
Brett sounds like a nice little projet you have going. I am hoping that I can get some alone time with the Blue One next month.
I'll have to pass on the moderator gig. It really takes someone who has strong opinions regarding relative merits of rotary powered vehicles, various induction systems and performance adders. Do we know anyone with these qualifications???

One week to the next OGTA meeting. Don't forget, we'll be moving to Tilted Kilt at Mall of Georgia (just one exit further up 85) since the service at Twisted is just so bad.
