[QUOTE=ray green;11060525]And this one shows you dudes I've been there, done that, 4 years ago when I stripped the White One that summer.
Looks great, run's like crap. Rat's Nests Rule!
This wouldn't have anything to do with the mechanic would it? No, of course not...
This is has got to be the 5th or 6th year you told me that. I may not be very smart, but I am starting to pick up on a pattern here.

Nope, couldn't be the mechanic because I did all the work so there was no mechanic involved.
But it's not a technical issue in any case, it's a spiritual one - Nikki's love rat's, and when the rats go away, the Nikki's get depressed and your gas mileage goes down.
Also, when you get up in those mountains at DGRR, it puts pressure on the rat's little ear drums and they stop working properly, so you lose power and get bad fuel mileage.
There's a reason why those mountains are so sparsely settled.

Well, I do not know what time. I am pretty sure it's at Road Atlanta (correct me if I am wrong), and I am planning on attending Sat-Sun. I got off work Saturday. Who all is going on Saturday?

I am leaving Sat morning as well. Wanna meet up for breakfast? Say....9am? Cracker Barrel Maybe the one off the highway at I-85 and hwy 53?
Last edited by gsl-se addict; 04-24-12 at 07:43 AM. Reason: I-985 --> I-85
There's a Cracker Hut right off I-85 on 53 a few miles from the track, the place we've met in the past. I think most prefer an 8:00 am breakfast so that we can get back on the track in time for the races.
Tim, what's the plan? Saturday looks like my big day too.

Breakfast at the Cracker Barrel @ 8 a.m. sounds good. I'll be there for sure.

Cracker Barell at 8am on Saturday the 28th of April. Then heading to the track.
So, I originally posted that it was 985 and 53. It's actually I-85 and 53. Address here:
Braselton
I-85 , Exit# 129
I-85 & Highway 53
301 Exchange Way
Braselton, GA 30517-3529
Located at I-85 & Highway 53
Bus & RV Parking Available
(706) 658-0009
Who all is camping? I am bringing the cornhole set so we can get a little cornhole in.

I am not going to be able to make it out to the track for the Mitty this year. Too many things on my plate.
But I can squeeze in breakfast with you guys on Saturday morning. See you at Cracker Barrel, 8:00.

Hey Mike, the other day my oil pressure gauge quit just like yours did. All the signs are good, I've put a couple hundred miles on it with "0" oil pressure and there's been no leaks, no runs, no errors.
The gauge isn't totally dead, the needle just barely drifts out of the zero zone when the car is cruising at 80, but it's not reading the 60-80 lbs. it usually does.
What's the deal, how do you fix it?

Don't forget what Billy says. "If you car isn't leaking something, you're out of fluids".
"If you car isn't leaking something, you're out of fluids"
That just applies for RX-2s and RX-8s. The FBs have all kinds of redundant systems that prohibit that kind of thing from happening.
In other words, I checked all the fluids. She's using less than a teenager.
I'll check out that sending unit, thanks for the hint.
See you dudes at the Cracker Hut, camera in hand.
