That was my next relevant comment. At this point, I dont really have room to even store this one, so ill have to pass. Thank you graciously for the offer though! Now I just have to hunt down parts for the swap and figure out where I'm gonna put it lol.

Ray, I took photos of the wheels for you, I will email them to you soon, I also got a 12a motor Saturday that looks like it will run! It has all the apex seals still there and turns over easy, but being out of a car how can I tell that it is in good shape?

Holy Cow Martin, you've hit the Mother Lode!

I'd love to add those wheels to my collection, but as Tim correctly points out, I've stretched the RX-7 budget to the limit.

I would be interested in the lug bolts however!

And I suppose I should give the guy with that pretty Silver 83 GSL a call. Couldn't hurt, right?

There were a lot more steel T2 hoods than you would think. A lot of S4 T2's had them. Aluminum would be better, but in your case, I'd go with whichever was in the best condition. Unless you're making an all-out curve carver, you won't notice anything.

I said farewell to the BMW this weekend. Sold it to a guy up in Knoxville who had a thing for old 280Zs. I'm torn between getting another Ranger or spending a few bucks more and getting an early 90's Jeep Wrangler. I'm working from home a lot more, and the office is only 5 miles away, so I'm not too concerned with MPGs or comfort. We'll see what jewels pop up on craigslist.

Hey Ray, does Cathy still have her Jeep?

The latest on the FD:

Alex hooked me up with some more parts... hats off to that guy! I got an R1 front lip and some suspension goodies. I've got the old turbos off, I hope to have them back on today and the car running by the weekend... It'll make it to the OGTA meet, I swear.

Congratulations on selling the BMW Brett, now there's some chance you might be able to put your kids through college.

Cathy still has the 92 Wrangler, red with 4.0L six, only 100,000 gentle miles (the seats are like new).

The plans are to put it back on the road in the next year or two, for fun and as a utility vehicle hooked up in front of a 5 x 8 trailer, but we've also been trying to simplify lately.

She might even let me use the proceeds to buy that silver 83 GSL.

I'll check.

OK Brett, I checked with Cathy on selling the Jeep.

She said she'd be delighted as long as she gets to live at your house so she can make sure it's being taken care of.

Let us know.

I didn't know hers was a 4.0, or even that it had that few miles. I don't think my wallet could afford one that nice...

An S4 FC one will work if you happen to have a spare.

Any one going to the tilted kilt tomorrow? A buddy of mine and I are planning on going.
He has a 84 gsl that I sold him a few months back, that's he's bringing.
I'm not sure yet which of my first gens I'm going to bring yet, but I'm pretty excited about coming and meeting some people, maybe Ray and Mike can come out? Lol
