I finally got it registered in my name, so it's sitting there legal and insured, but that's about all I've done since moving. It blew 2 freeze plugs so I'm thinking there is an issue with the cooling system getting over pressurized. That or it's just rusty as hell inside the block. I'm going to pull the valve covers and check the head bolts, possibly put some aluminum flakes in the coolant and see how it holds up then. But I've been so busy getting the house in order that I haven't had much attention to give to the cars besides regular maintenance. We just built a 250 ft fence for the dogs, the wife keeps finding furniture to buy/pick up/refinish, I'm half way through with a 16' workbench in the garage. I got a nice 4 drawer file cabinet that I haven't finished organizing, there are folders and papers all over my office... It might not sound like a lot but it's keeping me busy as hell. Fun fun!
You are learning the Way of the Wankel grasshopper.
Italian carbs are meant for Fiats, not rotaries.
The Mighty Wankel must purr with happiness, but must also roar with excitement.
Felix knew that four barrels are needed to harmonize the apex seals.
Which is why he moved his operation to Japan.
Zoom Zoom.

If you're looking for a cheap FB, there are 2 right down the street from me. One has been sitting under some trees forever, the other is on craigslist for $700: 1983 Mazda RX7
