sup guys? just wanted to share something u all. picked up a sweet sa yesterday and messed with it a little this morning. not running but in pretty good condition otherwise. only rust i've found is in the hood. tank had already been taken off to get all the rust flakes and dust out. guy i got it from(3rd owner) said he had gotten it up and running with some carb he got from a junkyard but didn't know what it originally came from. and it too is a nikki but a 2bbl. will be rebuilding the original carb to put back on. interior is in really good shape considering age. there's evidence it's had a respray.

Wow it's been awhile since I've been on here.....how's everyone been? I have been so busy in the Duramax game I let my bridgy car sit! Well today I put a fresh battery and a front crank seal on and fired her off for the first time in a few months and fell in love Again haha, now I'm making a list of stuff it needs to get road worthy and my main concern is the water temp guage, the factory sending unit isn't working at all so I need to figure out what to do there. Any tips? Also anyone know where to get the little kit for electric fan relays that uses the temp probe?

I second that... I moved away to NY for 2 years then came back. I was really looking forward to some meets and just hanging out with everyone.maybe we can get a few people together. It would be better than nothing.

Not to take away from this group but there is a meet coming up in NC

I've been to it once, pretty much like DGRR but a lot less formal and just as much fun . I'm hoping to go but October will be a busy month.

I've been wanting to make the br run for a while. I hope I can make that one. As far as this group me and a few others have tried to set up meets. People got burned out of the same old we've tried different places. Different runs. I've given 3 months head notice, people don't seem determined to want to come out. Except for Manny, Sam, josh, and Andre..... I guess life goes on. Dankfest is awesome! Wilkesboro crew brings a good show. Full of nice people that just love cars! No bs that you get with other clubs... I encourage ppl to make an effort next year. You won't regret it. Hell any event from WILKESBORO crew. Find them on Facebook. It seems that they don't show unless its epic!

I go to B3R every year. Its a must attend event for me. I get to catch up with the OGTA crew as
they always have a good showing that comes up from down in Atlanta. As to the local meets,
I've been busy a lot of times and couldn't make it out. I try. I've been hitting the Charlotte Cars
and Coffee on a regular basis and have met some rotor heads around Charlotte that also show
up there. Its a good time and sometimes we go grab lunch somewhere. Occasionally we do a
drive as well.

Good, how's the FD running? Still rich? I can't recall if you ever replaced your tranny but I MAY have a spare tranny early next year if you need it but the synchros are starting to wear on it so you have to double clutch 5th to prevent grinding.
PSHH! PSHH! HEAR ME NOW?

Mike. It was a pleasure meeting another first gen owner. You will find our little group has a vast amount of parts, knowledge, and resources. It will be a pleasure helping you along with your rotary.
