tires and wheels mounted and balanced. since it's a little hard to tell the lip from the pics above, i've added a $1 bill for reference:
front:

rear:

specs on wheels are 15x8 F w/ 2in backspacing and 15x10 R w/ 3in backspacing. perfect for the widebody.

alignment also done (stock strut mounts, tokico blues, front coilovers w/ 350lbs springs front and cut RB springs rear. specs after alignment:
front:
camber -.6 L, -1.0 R
caster 2.7 L, 2.9 R
toe: 0 for both

rear:
camber -.5 L, -.6 R
toe -.08 L, -.08 R

here's how she sits:

next will be paint

FL Wide Body

One of my favorite cars is the Porshe 930 slant nose. The first time I saw a 1st gen with the wide body I lost it. I couldn't believe how similar they look! My opinion! I wish you both the best. I just want to see the pics.

i've got one pic for u guys as a teaser, will get more later when i have time to work on the car but priority right now is to put together my 74 bmw 2002 when i get it back from paint.

That looks like the CP racing kit i believe. Or a replica. I have the same kit or replica. Nasty wide!! I have not installed it due to the cost of the wheels that will be needed to fill it.

Very nice. Whatever happened to it? Did you ever finish building it?

It's a real long story. Readers Digest version..this was mine in 87-92 stock w headers and air pump delete. Sold it w 82k to and employee who drove it a couple years then parked it till 98-99. He traded it to a guy who would later work for me and he started the wide kit. He got well into it but then got a surprise divorce that left him broke. It sat in his garage till 2015 when I bought it back from him w intention to finish. My business went sour after 36 years so I took a job out of my home state Ohio and took the engine/trans and some parts for my current 5 letter off it and sold the roller with wide kit as in photo for $1200.00. I had to get out of Dodge quick and really hated to see it go. When I saw yours in the old post I relived the disappointment all over again. Just couldn't take it south with me. Had to get light. That wide body kit done right is perfect for an SE done right. BUT I still have my all original survivor five letter and some of that car is now in mine doing just fine. Yours looks great. Didn't see the final outcome yet. Is it done?

well I read a ton and finally saw that white beauty and some of the other wide body's as well. It's confirmed.. I'm really sick that I could not keep mine. But I'm still a rotary owner and that's all that matters.!! I'll switch my comments to the build thread going forward. I lived in NE Ohio all my life (60) till ending up in NC. I left a good friend back there that built this 20b. Took it to 7stock last year. Had a ride in it.. downright angry beast.

he built it in 12 months. It's an SLC chassis with corvette suspension wheels and tires as I recall. Originally designed for. V8 he is the first to put a rotary in one and certainly the first to ever put a 20b in one.
