It's always worth the drive to hand out with the Raleigh crew... They have got to be one of the coolest groups of rotorheads ever... Besides us anyways...
Too bad everyone couldn't make it... How did everyone's cars do on the way back?

Thanks to everyone that made the trek up to Raleigh. All the RRDI rotorheads had a great time and enjoyed meeting our down east brethern. We're driving down to Seymour Johnson for the Wayne County Air Show on 10/15 and we'll be caravaning to Wilmington for the Brits & Battleship Car Show on 11/04. Hopefully we'll see y'all again in the next couple of months.
Thanks for letting us enjoy your cars and meet you. Hope is was worth the gas and repairs to make the trip and we can start planning more events togther like doing the Grand Rotary Rally of NC together, Holiday Laps up at VIR, doing the Tail of the Dragon runs in April, and doing a drive and Ferry run would be awesome. How 'bout a picutre of a ferry loaded with nothing by rotaries, that would make the RXTuner Mag for sure, could we plan that for next spring?
Hope everyone made it all the way home last night, we shut down at 2300 hrs after the tow truck arrived to carry the RX3 back to Chapel Hill. That was a bad end to a wonderful night. Again, thanks for making it a great Drive-In.

The drive was worth it. It was my first trip up. I wish we could have gotten there sooner in order for me to meet people a little easier. Also better to see cars in day light too. All nine cars would have been nice of course. However there wasn't much room to park either.

Get the car warmed up good and cut it off... If it's hard to turn the clutch fan by hand when it's hot, then it's good... If it's pretty easy to move then you need a new fan...
Other than that, I would agree with Macho and say the radiator is most likely the problem...

dude ive been busy trying to get my piece running right, i havnt even started to swap the door yet. i think i have a fuel problem but i cant tell, i really just dont understand what the hell is wrong with it. i'll call you sometime though. but its hard during the week because i dont get off until 6 and by the time i get home its already 7, so if i came and picked you up i wouldnt get home until 730-800 then work on it and have to drop you off again then get up a 4 in the morning to go into work. i'll figure something out though. hey i talked to m friend and he wants the chassis from you, we are just trying to figure out how to get it to his house.

Anyone upgrading the exhaust on their TII???
I need a stock TII catback exhaust to install on my 10AE for the drive back from TX... I'd take my 3" turboback out there, but I don't wanna have any boost creep issues... Best to just leave it stock until I get it here...
