turbo a 1986 6 port with rtek

hi guys,
i have been communicating with rtek to get an ecu that would allow me to change the fuel and timing maps on my 6 port now that it will have a turbo forcing air to it, after talking to them they adviced me to get the N332 or N333, AFM and MAP sensor from an 87 to 88 turbo II, i asked them if i should also get the engine harness so everything communicate with each other and they referred me to the forums here for advice from you guys.
the engine i would like to build i would like it to have a good bottom end end torque but it doesn't need to make big power, just a little better than what the 6 port engine made when it was first build back in 1986.

any suggestions and advice is greatly appreciated since its the first time i will turbo a wankel.

The S4 Turbo ECU (N332, N333) and sensors will give you tuning control in boost (positive pressure). The NA electronics are not set up to handle any significant boost, as far as I know.

I do not know about the harness. You'll have to dig some more on the general forum.

The nice thing about the RTEK is that it's a stock ECU platform. All the general RX-7 tech tips still apply, aside from the bonus RTEK features.

thanks for the insight, so i guess i need to do a lot more research on the harness to see if i need to get a turbo II harness or not, i was looking at the schematics for the 6port and the turbo II harness coming from the engine to the ecu and the seem to by the same side by side but that was a quick glance and there could be something that i missed. ill look on it a little more carefull and see if there is any big differences. also i understand that with the rtek i can run a wideband O2 that would help greatly with tuning, i just have no idea how to go about it, i havent had a chance to go through the threads to see if anyone has posted the details on how to do it, but i guess with time ill start finding the answers.
