some life into the rtek?

hoping to see if theres any chance of adding 1000cc injector presets

just one little update for this please..

the new borg warner EFR turbos like the 7670 with an rtek 1000x4 injecot supra fuel pump would make a mean 400hp. you would get some rtek sales as there are guys reinterested in this sorta thing. (thought the efr like high boost)

post if you support the idea of adding 1000cc injector preset. and/or rescale the MAP sensor.. i may have a work around using a voltage splitter/ to make the rtek 30 psi capable

I would enjoy a 1000cc preset. I would also throw some money at the development of this option, should it be simple to implement.

They're not even offering stage 2 boards for S5 Tii cars anymore. You're likely going to have more luck hoping SonicRat gets his project off the ground.

Still running a 2.1 in my '88 with 720/720 setup, but I'm nearing 75% duty cycle on my injectors, and I'm holding off on adding more boost. Point being, I too would like to be able to go 1000cc injectors without having to connect them, then dial down my entire fuel map. Takes forever on a little pda.

Maybe one day rat will come through, and I'll head that direction, or go mega.

I ran 1000cc ID secondary units without much issue. I also went(well in process) megasquirt, the lack of resolution and interpolation of the rtek just made the cruising section meh in my car.

Which preset did you use? I've seen differing opinions on this one.

I didnt have 1000 in the primary spot only the secondary, so I could get by having the 720 preset on the secondary injectors and just tune around it a bit.

Why not 1000/1000? Are you really reaching the max duty cycle of both sets and need 1300?

1000/1000 presets would enable fueling for up to 460 hp...
1000/1300 will have enough fuel for 530hp

if you use anything but 720c cc injectors in the primary the fueling will be slightly off. you can set the idle fuel ratio and the you can negitive LOTs and LOTS of cells to bring most of the tune down from being soo over rich..

But you cannot adjust fuel accel tables rate.. also know as throttle tip in.
this table is not available to adjust but an educated person knows the ecu has tip in.
this means a rich spurt every time you ramp of the throttle rate...

I'm running 960/1600's (720/720 preset) on my 2.1.. took a while to get the numbers dialed in initially, I never had it professionally tuned but it happily stayed in the 11 afr range

I'd be willing to chip into the development of this, however like others have said rtek has not produced 2.0ss for awhile and am unsure their willingness to support us.

Save your typing. Sorry, this just isn't going to happen. I have a more than full time job and the market for these ECUs is so small, I wouldn't do it for $1000 each.

I toying with the idea of selling all the Rtek assets if someone wants to take it over. I can't do it justice at this point.

pm me your ball park. i just got on with a company that has two dynos and am just getting myself more in the tuning world, tho i may swap to mazdaedit and rx8 ecus....
one mazdaedit license for 900 is good for unlimited tuning of stock rx8 ecus, and the adjustments are soo deep i dont think there is much of a limit to them, more engine limit at this point.
