The rx7 drag car is sitting in the shop at RP in Garland right now. Dave popped the hood and showed me the engine a few months ago when I was there.

I was up there last week and Chris told me they split the business. Ari now runs RX7.com separately and sells parts and Chris is running the shop in garland. Not really gossip, just facts. Chris didn't seem to indicate any ill will and said business was booming.

We split the old Rotary Performance company late last year. There are now two separate businesses that are actually located in the same building.
It gets a little confusing sometimes, but we find a way to make it all work... Chris is running the operation at the front and I'm running the one at the rear of the building.

The old, heavy trailer had been sold but the car is still here... It got moved about 100 feet and is sitting, covered, in the corner of the warehouse for now. I hope that we can finish updating it and get it to a local event or two before the end of the 2015 season, we'll see.
We have another street car project in the works. I'm looking forward to getting it to the track in the near future. I'll get some more details posted after we get to make a couple of passes. It won't be a single digit car but will hopefully drive to the track and back home...
The 3/4 chassis car in the picture is slowly getting put together. It now has a full tube chassis and will hopefully be ready for the track next year. I'll post some updated pics soon with more details.
We've been getting some great turbo weather recently, I know that some haven't been so lucky... Best wishes for a great 2015 to everyone.
