Darby ALL MOTOR Rx7 testing.......we know when you test....you cannot hide,forget that E 85 go back to GAS!

yea i am testing the e85 i was only shifting at 8800 rpm brand new motor just breaking motor in i will be ready for the race in april

Looks like the car is launching good, but next time you gotta stay in it. Did you make any other passes and if so what was your times?

never afraid of anybody with i was not even there son took car up to bakersfield with my brother he was driving car i will be doing some testing with the car maybe at fontana and i will let everyone know when

I know Eric, I was just playin with you. Looking forward to seeing you on April 23. Looks like we might have a few rotories in our class. I think Rene is going to make it, you, and me. What about Steve? Anybody hear from him? Also, I tried to call Albert to see if he is up and running but he hasnt' called. Have you talked to him?

Yeah there is a test and tune session at Fontana the week before and after the event. I'm selling my motor after the event so I am not putting any uneccessary abuse on it. I'm just going to make one qualifing pass and go from there.

Rene is still the fastest West coast stock chassis all motor car here right now. With or without a timeslip his 6.30 1/8th mile video's he has all over youtube is proof enough for all you haters.

So whats the cfm rating on that there carb you run on that thingamajig broseph? What would be the appropriate sized holley to match that bad boy? You know, for like a pport 13b or whatever........

ps. Im hella jealous and now feel incredibly pressured to produce results or risk a life of shame......

yea he is the fastest and i am the second fastest hopefully he can run his car in fontana and all the rotarys will be running because i am bringing my piece of junk to have some fun

That carb has to be doing some very high CMF numbers i would say 1000+ . i am relay considering buying one as i am about to build a 12a PP. jay i cant wait to see quarter mile times , are u using pump gas , racing gas , are u considering methanol? .

I don't know what cfm's it puts out. It's just a Weber 51IDA. I'm not too familiar with Holleys. I would guestimate my carb is pretty close to a Holley 600-650. I have heard that Webers tend to make more power on PPorts because of the natural two runners for each carb butterfly and vise versa on a 4 port, but I can't varify as I have only run Webers. Webers are so much easier to tune and change around. YOu can't change chokes in a Holley like you can a Weber and changing jets is 10x easier.

Eric, your car is far from a piece of junk. You have a very nice car and should be proud, but look out boy, I'm coming strong.

I have ran both pump gas and race gas. I haven't tried Methanol yet. I'm saving that for a last resort for a record.
