Weber Carbs!!!!!!

The carbs work really well. I never got around to using the NOS on my setup, but that setup makes power. Nice project.

Good Luck.

The work is being done by both me and Albert the owner of the car. Albert cut the floors out and did all the painting(he's a painter by trade). I did the rear end set-up, most of the fabricating, the wiring & tuning...

So, the upper is 16" and the lower is 16.5". Is that measurement from end to end or center hole to center hole ?

Thanks again.

One more question, some guys are running the 28/10.5/15W tires with a minitub. Those have a sidewall width of 13.1 inches. Yours have a sidewall width of 11.7 but from your pictures, it looks like a real tight fit.

It is a tight fit because we chose not to cut the rear quarters in any way or notch the rails...

I didn't think the rails needed to be notched for a bigger tire. With the quarter panels, you're talking about the inner quarter panel, not the outer right ?

This guy claims to run 13 inch sidewall to sidewall tires without touching the frame. He's ran a 28x10.5W , 325-50-15 MT radial and a 28x13.5 quick time pro.

I'm sorry we cut the inner quarter only, we left the outer untouched. Tire width is sometimes determined by rim width. Tires like e.t. street and pro street are usually undersized when it comes to width.
