60ft times on drag radials

what are the best 60ft times out there on drag radial? couldn't get mine lower than 1.938. my tire pressure was 14 psi don't know if that was too low, then lower it to 12 psi didn't make much of difference. just curious

On BFG's I cut mid 1.60's. Your really better off not running them. Too much can break as the sidewall doesn't allow for enough flex, hense you'll break your diff, axles, etc...much easier.

I love the 11.5s. I can launch at limiter any where from 15-9psi in the tires and they hook up.

Drag radials can 60ft better than 99% of the slick tire cars on here with a properly built car.

People are droppin 1.1x's with MT Radials pretty frequent now.

So far my best time with my MT drag radials has been a 1.8 with a 7.7 @95mph in the 1/8 mile.

YES.. it broke my LSD and my axle splines aren't in great shape BUT the stock GSL-SE rear wasn't ment to handle 440 HP...

They get even better the more you use them... Mine were spinning the first 5 or 6 runs. You have to scuff them up good and then they will grip more...

Just did this on 275/40/17s, 18psi tire pressure and 15psi boost.
Haven't dyno'd yet so can't tell you the HP #'s. I'm on Koni adjustables, GC coilovers, set all 4 to full soft and launched slipping at about 6k on my Exedy twin carbon clutch.

i managed to cut 1.7,60ft, with mickey thompson drag radials with a slipping clucth!. It had around 12psi. I launched it around 8000rpm but with a bi of clutch slipping to prevent breaking my diff.

If you want to run on drag radials use hoosier dra radials. These have a soft sidewall like a full slick tire but still has tread. I have seen 1.5 60ft with these tires. I have also seen 1.5 times with nitto 555r drag radials but i wouldn't say that it is common.

Yeah, run the Mickeys or Hoosiers if you want lower 60's and don't mind them wearing out fast.
Run the Nitto's if you want something pretty close but will last 10k miles on the street.

i am using m/t street2 radials 205/40/17 and they are awsome. Can leave on the limiter and get 1.70 pretty consistently. Great from a small tyre 22x8x17 for yous in the USA.

Agreed. Best 60ft out of mine was a 1.76 , not matter what I did. Dumping it, sliping the clutch, nothing.

I will just do what works next time. by some 26x11.5.16 and let it rip.
