Also, the silly ****** claimed the side seal path sweeps in reverse when trying to discredit Barry Bordes and spruik his side/corner seals in a thread I started on RCC to ask Barry some more details on how he did the labyrinth on his corner seals. That is utterly incorrect.

EDIT: My apologies to anyone who is thousands down the hole due to this, my intention is not to make light of your loss, just Peter's massive ego.

I kind of seen this coming.. I can believe the claims if this being a hard and though material, which to be honest are really good properties for seals. but this properties do not make the tribological/friction aspect perfect... what could work is to have these seals DLC coated but I think DLC coating is not suited to this kind of seal temperatures.

Ceramic/Cermet coating could work. but in the end why do all this effort if you can buy NRS/Ianetti which last forever as long as you stay out of severe detonation.

How could that be? I thought I read somewhere that there were several shop/tuners testing the seals out. One of this shop ought to post their success/horror stories!

Well we thought that was what these threads where for was to build a clean database of clients ripped off but so many people just want to talk ish and Bash on RR that we don't get any facts and the BUILDERS are nowhere to be found...

Builders please chime in here or on RCC as I have a dedicated thread just for builders with SS seals to post up Logical Facts. NO BS or Trash talking and not one has popped up. So come on builders? Lets get those Facts out there.

If no builders are responding, it leads to reason, then, that no builders are actually trying them.

When they just came out I had to buy a set of seals for a turbo 2 gt35r build. I could decide between ceramics and these seals as the engine had broken a tip of mazda 2 piece seals. Being that these seals where unproven at that time and cost a lot more than proven NRS, I chose the 1 piece and today I had the guy on the phone and his engine is still going strong after around 7k street km with 1.2 bar/400 hp.

What facts would you like to the moderators to have their descretion on?
That 1)
Peter is still banned from this forums, for obvious reasons, or
2) your lack of coherent posts

This is a strange thread.

I am not sure why chibikougan take things in this thread so personally. As someone that does not know or care about the history behind some of the people mentioned in this thread, there has been nothing but informative information here. There has been no malicious intent what so ever. So someone posted some results form a real engine builder from an engine tear down using these seals. That's great and there is nothing wrong with that. That is what this forum is for. Good products get a good name and bad product get a bad one. 99% of the time these results are correct. A bullshitter can BS a a couple people at a time but it is near impossible to BS a large group of people at the same time.

rx72c - when I first read this thread and saw a post from chibikougan my first thought was he had to have written some of the things on the riceracing site. That level of arrogance and condescending style of writing is pretty unique.

I do know the history of a lot of people in this thread and I don't take any of this personally. I am tired of people who are chiming in with BS that has nothing to do with SEALS just their ancient beef with Peter. They ripped him off he ripped them off it has been going on for 20 years.

If you want to just talk ish about someone you can but should not be able because it is against forum rules and for some reason is not enforced in this thread. It is also a terrible way to get your point across. Also you have all the non involved ish talkers.

Take a look at all the other forums and see they have been cleaned up to contain only pertinent content and information. No ish.

Feel free to keep attacking me and breaking forum rules and feel free to keep posting ish in this thread. Soon enough it will be incoherent or get the ish kicked out of it.

Later Taterz.

Are you really still on the ishers ideals that I am defending Rice Racing in any way? Oh wait you are an isher. It is nice to see that the RR isher club has come out in full force yet the people who where actually victimized by him are being drowned out by the RR ishers. Good job!

Looks like "The Don" has been using his apex seals to chop up lines on that mirror.

Damn, this is almost unbelievable...... jaw dropped when I saw this pic. I'm a builder--- will only use OEM, RA black/super, and RxParts. Have built a few with NRS and ALS over the years.

^Like I said earlier, it looks like someone poured a bucket of sand down the intake. That looks horrific.

Edit: Did they also post pics of the seals themselves?

Why would anyone buy a product from website that's as unprofessional as that one is? Based on the website alone I would never do business with him, let alone pay the prices he's requesting.

This is almost comical (it would be if it weren't for good people losing so much money). This guy attacked others' work and products so aggressively, and then ends up being a bigger scammer than anyone else.

Karma. Hopefully anyone that got hurt by this, gets some karma back in the other direction.
