Looks like beautiful work! I love how your design keeps the factory look in respect to the curves. Do you have someone that rolls all the sheet metal? What front bumper cover is that one the black fd? Beautiful kit

We need better pics of the rear fenders painted and flushed against wheels/tires. Anymore side views of the whole car?

X2, It's really hard to see how the lines flow with pictures available. Has anyone actually installed these and seen how they look with correct wheels? The super-sunk wheels makes the fenders look really goofy.

When Mike's car comes back from paint we'll definitely be posting pictures of it. If pictures get posted sooner than that it'll have to come from a customer's car and we've asked folks to send pictures when they're done.

In the meantime... The overall width and stance is similar to the Pettit flares that Brent (among many others) runs.

Except they're fully smoothed and molded in.

If that's enought for you to order. Awesome. If it's not, then I suppose you're just as eager as we are to see finished pictures. We've been selling these long enought that we should start seeing finished pictures popping up soon.

You can, you would just need to decide what overall width you want to go with. We have some guys running 315 width tires all around. You would need either a spacer or less backspacing for the rear to sit flush with the lip.
I imagine you could get 335 on all 4 corners, but you would want to carefully measure after all the parts were installed. I believe you would want about a 12" wide wheel in the front with about 8" backspacing for the front, and 12" rear with about 6.75" backspacing.

Thanks, we have spent a LOT of time trying to get a FD widebody to the market that emphasizes and improves on the factory FD shape.

Do you guys have any more pictures of the rear quarter panels? Any other customers send in fitment pictures? I am liking the rears a lot, just want to see it with a nice wheel setup.

Hi Nolan,

We keep pushing the FD widebodies fronts with our composite shop but they're really lagging. We're talking about a group buy to try to be able to get a more firm commitment out of them on timeline. It's easier to get them to do things when we have orders committed and lined up. It wouldn't be a huge discount since there's actually not a lot of margin in the composite goods. (Made in the USA by craftsmen isn't cheap). However they should what we want them to be.

It's frustrating to have put as much effort into these fenders as we have only to have a supplier just sit on them doing nothing. We're trying to find a way to light a fire under them.

How is it that you guys don't have a picture of these rear fenders on anyone's car.... painted? Seems as that would be the first priority to get a painted example, because no one is going to buy something unless they are able to see what it would look like.

Here are some pics, when I get my proper wheels on the car I will take some non-iPhone shots as these don't really do it justice.

If you look at their website, the answer is yes. In fact all they have in stock are the rears, I have been waiting 11 months for them to get some fronts back in stock.

Good deal. When I looked a couple months ago it was still the package deal. Hadn't checked back.

Set ordered. Looking forward to them.

This wide-body kit looks good except the rear flare and tyre proportion. The tyre is almost touching the area of the wheel arch close to the door whereas there is a big gap between the tyre and the wheel arch near the rear bumper area. This gives the illusion of bent rear suspension/wheels like the car hit the curb. I've noticed this on quite a lot of wide-body kits including the latest trend Rocket Bunny kit. If this issue was fixed, I'd like to fit an oem looking wide-body kit like this to my car.

I see what you're talking about in TaiLun's pictures above, but I think it's partly an optical illusion given the picture is not taken quite straight on from the side. If you look at the 3/4" view you can see he still has plenty of tire clearance.

I'll have to check Mike's car for the original intent, but shifting the kit forward by 1/2" during install shouldn't be a problem to pull that symmetry back in line. We do suggest that that final locating of the kit is best done with wheels on the car and the car aligned as per intent (alignment can also result in some slight fore/aft tire shift depending on the alignment means done).

Like I said I've noticed it on quite a few wide body kits, maybe it's an optical illusion or maybe the fender flares and wide fenders needs to be uneven/asymmetric front to back due to the body shape of the car. Either way the body kit will look even better once the issue is addressed. Here are a few more examples:

Good news first. We have rears in stock ready to ship immediately.

The fronts are harder. Effectively we need a new composites supplier to move forward with the front molds or to get carbon parts made reliably. At the same time we're so frustrated at the whole situation that no one among the three Ronin principals really wants to deal with it. The composites we do make are pretty nice but we effectively lose money on all of them given the level of effort required.

Even for the things we do have readily available when once in a while someone takes you to task over a weave not being perfect it just drives you insane. Morale of the story, the fronts are still on hiatus. We still want to do it, but there is no ETA as to when. If and when we do get our composites fully sorted don't expect to see many carbon offerings.

If you want the front fenders BADLY, we technically could use the old mold, but it'll require some body work on all flanges to make them "right". It can be don--as some pics in this thread demonstrate--but we're not proud of the effort it takes to get there and it really not up to our standards of quality.

Now if we could sell these on ebay for $250 a set, then they'd probably be in line with expectations for a great deal of the bottom tier composites out there, but A) our composite supply doesn't cost us bottom tier numbers regardless of goodness of molds and B) we tend to think folks want more from Ronin.

Rear tire location can be a problem if you:
A) Run large 18's in the tire category like 300+ widths and aggressive offsets
B) Run 19's

There are lots of pictures of the kit on a car... the same blue one in that other forum, in the pictures above I'm running my old Work VS in 19. I had room, no rubbing or issues other than a bit of angle when taking off a wheel. When I switched to 18's, no issues until I went ultra wide track tires.

If anyone is worried about quality, I've put the fronts through a lot of stress from track days, being low, running wide track tires and they have been bashed up from cones, stones and shitty Vancouver roads heh. The rears which I had moulded on are also holding up after all these years with the track abuse.
