Finally got some video. So this is what I was dealing with while the rest of the pack drove away.

Here is the Race. You can see Ben's tail lights a couple times. But that's about it.

Still, for being the slowest car on Friday. I was very happy and lucky to get on the podium.

carnage pics! we blamed the berms, but who knows? as usual we got a foreshadowing, they broke a stud at the shop putting a wheel on the weekend before. we treated them really really gently all weekend. we didn't use power tools, and were only torquing things to like 75lbs ft, and it was fine like that all weekend, but for the final we went to 90lbs ft, and we ended up checking the torque like 3 times, out of boredom/anticipation.

of course when we tightened it, is when it loosened up. i think i can hear wheel noise in the video before 20minutes in, but it didn't become loud until about 22min (i could hear it on the radio).

carnage; the lug nut taper on the wheel is now a step, so we ended up pitching that wheel, and one of the rears was screwed up too. we broke another stud pulling it apart, you can see the lug is beat up too, as is the thread. it didn't look bent in person, but it does in the pic, not sure why.

i'm not sure what the lesson is, we've had worse. the stud that broke was a cheapie, but the ones that loosened were ARP

Strange. I've never had such issues... and oddly enough we run 30mm Ichiba spacers LOL. Everytime im at the track someone comments how those will eventually fall off the car and the whole mess will start on fire and slide into the tire barrier (ok some exageration)...

But, Not one issue in 5 years of racing...

BTW here is ben's artsy video...

A lot of Robert Davis missing apexes
