Bolt-on manual rack in development (Tired of looking for an atomicrex rack?)
I spent the last two months working with a chassis shop to develop this bolt in power rack replacement. I have to have the inner tie rods that come with the rack cut down and rethreaded to fit the FD, so that is taking place right now. I have an initial 10 racks available, and I am taking deposits on them for anyone interested. These should be ready to ship mid-end October.
The rack itself is only 13lbs! It should save you around 25lbs over the factory power pump/rack setup. This rack will give you a quicker ratio 14:1 (stock is 16.6:1), and has a tighter turning radius than factory.
This is a 100% bolt in kit, uses the factory mounting location, and I have the inner tie rods machined and threaded to fit the stock outer tie rod ends. This makes for a super easy swap!
