Offline Autotune functionality for PowerFC
Hi,
I'm sure people around the places have noticed my posts. Anyway I work as an electronic device programmer. I write C for embedded devices, its mostly control system and communications and super obscure stuff. Anyway I wrote software that mimics how I think megalogviewer's autotune, or Adaptronics autotune software should work for the HKS F-Con because I decided to use it in my FD3S instead of the PowerFC. I'm not sure if offline closed loop autotune software exists for the PowerFC. Regardless I possess the skills to create it and have experience reverse engineering my own system for the super obscure HKS F-Con V Pro Gold.
My existing custom HKS software rejects outlier points, and then interpolates each datalog sample from a csv log file against your current injector pulsewidth and drives the error between your desired and actual AFR reading to 0. Of course there are many conditions such as it works best for slow steady state stuff. If you do a long drive at one speed on the highway you are pretty much guaranteed a good tune for the load cells you hit frequently. It doesn't work great below about 2000rpm and everything else needs to be consistent but it does work.
Anyway it would run on your typical Windows XP and Windows 7 tuning laptop. I would have to devise a way to lock each build to a given PC and then sell it for something like $30USD per seat (locked to a supplied PC).
If anyone is interested post away. The code takes a delta against your AFR target table and what each datalog sample AFR was. I have code that takes into account wb02 system delays, fuel cut, fuel cut return, injector staging, accelerator enrichment.
I would probably need 20 people interested (in paying and providing data) to consider writing the code as well as your datalogs and tune files.
Some pics to show what the system does, it counts valid table collisions and drives a delta which is the correct it applies to your existing fuel table.
If this post is against the rules someone please tell me or just delete the post and explain what I should do if I want to go ahead with this.

What format are power FC log files in? Do you have the option to save them into a text based format such as .csv or .txt?
If someone can share a log file from a decent length drive and an accompanying tune file I will take a look at this when I get a chance.
