Going from Electromotive TEC3 to Power FC now got some questions.

SET UP-
GT35R
41mm Tial wastegate 1.o bar spring
STOCK PORT
1680cc+ resistors /900cc
bOSCH 044
LSX Coils

ISSUES
-I did a single turbo harness conversion on my harness. I deleted all the emission stuff. My only concern is I eliminated the two solenoids in front of the UIM boost and precontrol.
Do I need those?
I only need the boost sensor thats on the driver side wall by the brake master?

I deleted my OMP since I like pre mix better do i need to do anything about that?

The boost/wastegate solenoid would be used if you are configuring the Power FC to control boost. If you have another form of boost control then it won't matter.

Yes but you should consider converting to a 3 bar MAP sensor, either the Apex'i/Denso unit which plugs right in or a GM sensor which can be purchased from Banzai Racing with a plug-and-play adapter harness. Changing the MAP sensor to a GM requires a Datalogit to adjust the sensor calibration. An Apex'i sensor can plug right in and be enabled with the Commander using one of the pre-set options.

I freaking LOVE you man (no homo) cool I already have a 3 bar map sensor. I will call Banzai to get the harness. so basically instead of using the OEM boost sensor it will be like this.

3 bar map sensor----- to banzai harness -------to fd3s harness.

correct but as arghx mentioned you have to change the setting with a datalogit or your car will not even start once you install the new map sensor.

values can be found in this thread

PFC and 3bar MAP sensor

I running into another series of questions bro.

1- I am running an aftermarket air temp sensor thats hooked up to my TEC3. Will I have to run this sensor or am I good with my sensor under the UIM?

Papasmagu- I will be running the oemboost sensor since I am only running max 14 psi . I believe the Oem one is good up to 17psi. I already have the 3 bar map sensor but still shopping for a data logit

unless the aftermarket iat has same temperature output as the stock iat then you can use it. Im using a fast reacting iat that has same values as the stock thats been relocated to intercooler out pipe. Some changes have to be made to compensate for cooler readings in that location with datalogit. 14 should be fine with stock map

I have seen situations where it is too lean because of differences in fuel pressure, spark plugs, etc. When you start it you might have to keep your foot on the gas and hold it at say 2000-3000rpm. If you have an on-board wideband (and you really should), watch the gauge. As you let off the gas it may go lean, lean being defined as an AFR displayed as greater than about 13:1. In that case it may stall.

It could also have idle surging issues if the throttlebody and idle settings are not set properly for your application.

See HOW TO: Make your untuned PFC basemap safer/idle better (no Datalogit needed) especially posts 1, 23, 27, 28

OK so today I installed the Power FC fired right up actually fixed my idle /tps throttle burp issue I was having ...lol dont ask..haha

So I then removed my old ignition system from the electromotve tec3. Installed my LS2 coils I properly wired it up checked it 5 times using my eyeballs, wire diagram, ls2 wire diagram. And I have no power at all!!!!!!!

The only wire I have power out of is the 12V supply. The leading and trailings have nothing.

My tec 3 has its own coils system so it is wired directly to the TEC3.

For my LS2 coils I used the igniter harness to get all my sources , and I wired them up like this.

LIGHT GREEN- LEADING FRONT AND REAR
BROWN- TRAILING FRONT
BROWN/BLACK- TRAILING REAR
BLACK/WHITE - 12V SUPPLY
LIGHT GREEN /BLACK - GROUNDS

Theres no power going to the coils at all. I check the connectors in the ECU and it is fine.

You might want to check the single turbo and 3rd generation sections for help on that issue.

I got it after 20 mins looking at the wire diagram I grounded the coil harnes to chasis instead of the ground ecu wire. Worked like a charm.

PFC on LS2 coils

I manage to get 350whp @ 13psi on stock ports on pump gas!!!

yes sir , I am actually thinking of going meth/water injection to see if i can break into 380 should be fun but for now 350 is what my goal was since most of the tracks i go to anything over 350whp is not needed.
