Well I managed to get a driveshaft mocked up over the weekend. The 240's driveshaft is a larger diameter than the 7's, so i had a local exhaust shop widen the 7's tube at the mating point and I welded it up. It isn't balanced, but it will transmit power to the wheels, and that's good enough for the time being. Once I get all the bugs worked out I'll get a proper shaft built. I just don't want to lay out $300+ for a shaft that's the wrong size.
