better than a V8 swap and less chance of popping motors due to ignorance.

He sure did a clean wire tuck. I'm hoping this was a roller and he just so happened to have a 12a setup sitting around.

Probably.. But idk if the level of FB monster outweighs the absolutely retarded swap level of the FD

Less chance of popping motors, Greater chance of getting straight smoked by stock Geo Metros

The power to weight ratio of that FD is shockingly close to that of a 70's VW Bug. SICK!

never know, it may have a J port and keep up with a stock FD.

highly doubtful though, if he couldn't be bothered to remove an engine harness that he could have a motor built correctly to make max power potential.

Well if he stuck the REW in the FB and it had a running 12A I guess it kind of makes sense to throw it in the FD and ask a few more bucks for it instead of just selling a roller.

but that begs the question, why destroy the value of the FD in favor of the FB, which still will be a hard sell if it ever came to that? but i doubt even that scenario, since the wiring harness is still sitting in the FD.

Because there are plenty of idiots that will buy it because it's an FD, not even looking under the hood.

at least when some unwitting person asks if it is turbo or not he won't have to reply: "they were all turbo"

instead he can throw a gangster pose and scream "12A fool!"

All that did was make more work for the new owner. At least with a rolling shell you can drop a new motor right in. Now they'd need to do all kinds of **** before this car can run right.

want more power? do it yourself!

then learn how to be an expert at replacing engines.

at least he had the sense to admit enough is enough and step down to a setup that is damn near impossible to blow up, or just didn't have the choice. a GT35 will get any amateur in over their head before they can even lift off the throttle.

not only he had a GT35 turbo on his FD but never upgraded his fuel system and never even got it tuned lol

I have a Metro for my dd. Trust me, a 12a with only 1 good rotor would still beat it. I've had bicyclists beat me from a light up to about 20 mph.
