wow ok so its been awhile since I posted an update on this car!! I've been going pretty hard on it so here are a bunch of new photos! I havent got any exterior pics yet as all the kit is still off and I dont want to really show it unfinished...
I have managed to get heaps done, new brakes, stripped all the suspension out etc and painted it all, actually I will let the pics speak ha ha!

I have been trying to update on my facebook page too so have a look https://www.facebook.com/StrangeWorkshop and let me know what you think

I will start where I left off... the handbrake...

After talking with the owner he decided that he wanted me to strip all the suspension and subframes and get them painted to show standard among other things... the outcome looks great though!

begin by tagging the parts in colours to be painted.

I love it. Other than the glimmer drive belt, but it's not my build. I wanna see this beast on the streets!

Sad news I am afraid, after a combination of sitting for so long (like 5 years) without being run much during that time and the fact it had not been dowelled the engine cracked the front plate on the dyno last week so the engine is out getting a freshen up, new front plate, apex seals etc and of course dowelling so it wont twist itself to bits again....

First run it made 400hp at the wheels on 10.3psi boost, and on the 8th run.. i will let it speak for its self, boost was only 15psi..

And the 3rd dyno run before it cracked the front plate:

this thing is so crazy. the work that's gone into it is inspirational. i can't imagine how much $$$ has been dropped.

can't wait to see this thing on the road. looking forward to seeing the final dyno numbers it puts out as well.

i guess since it's a sleeper, you guys aren't going to gut the car huh. i know the car is pretty heavy. swapping the engine should be a decent weight savings.

haha this swap is fkn fantastic!! super interesting for me considering i own both a 32 and a fc and had often considered the possibillities of the rb26 in the fc but the other way round? never thought of it..
props for a really cool build and look forward to seeing how she goes flat out!
