Ya that completely possible with enough cutting and welding. Yiou would have to buy the engine and trans etc. roughly $3000 mabe less for the basic hardware. then labor, your own labor is usualy the best. Plus stuff like ignition ECU, that 3000 would probaly get you some of that. This amount of money should get you a low milage T2 engine.

My friend just stuffed a 12A in an isuzu truck. And ive seen a few mazda trucks with rotwry engines, including a turbo 2. It definately can be done, it all depends what you want and how much are you willing to spend. Illsee if I can get a pic of his truck and ill post it here.

Cho man!
I gots me a B2200, '93. Blew the engine in that puppy last March (which is when I started lookin for a new engine for it). I ended up getting it replaced under warranty from the guy I bought it from (how sweet is that?!).
Anywhoop, I approached a guy in town that runs a mechanic shop and hes got like 4 RX-7s sittin around that he puts Chevy 350s in, and he told me that he would put any engine in my truck for $3000 if I provided the engine and transmission.
So it would be $3000 +cost of engine and tranny. He also told me that there was no point in putting a non-turbo rotary engine in (but Im sure that some of the N/A guys on here might tell you other wise).
My truck is running right now with a stock B2200 engine that the guy took outa a scrapped truck and put in mine for free. But when Im all done with my lil project that Im a workin on at the momment I will be investing in a 20B engine to go into my lil ol B2200!
You have to remember that if your swappin the rotary (or any engine) into the B2200, your gonna need a bigger rad, better compooper to run it alone with a bunch of other things, which you can probably find at the scrap yard. Personally, I'll be buying practically everything new and upgrade equipment before I even put it in, so I wont have to upgrade later.
If yah got anymore questions or what have you PM me or email me or sumfin, cause Ive pretty much researched the whole shibaz already.

Good Luck!

PS- All prices above are listed in Canadian dallas.

Probably gonna have to fabricate them. Doesn't seem to be a common swap.

I see all ya have spent this and spent that. Shiiiiit I spent $2500 on my clutch set up alone. If you're going to do it do it right. But it's fun as hell!

I spent more than 30 years tinkering with rotaries, did several engine swaps, had a lot of fun driving them. But technology moves on and I would not waste my time now installing a rotary in anything. You can buy Japanese piston engines now for reasonable prices that will give you twice the power with 50% better gas mileage. If this is for driving on the street, doing it on the cheap will eventually bring you nothing but headaches and frustration.

Here is a guy who is doing it right , probably spending more money than you have ever seen, but an interesting project:

Screw a piston and I have 100+ hours just in my engine bay. I have spent $25,000+ on my truck in 4 months
