Buy a handful of washers and stack them up on the hub over the stud equally one by one until you get clearance. This will give you an idea of what thickness you need. I'd guess about a 1/4 spacer. This only works if you've done a wheel stud conversion. It's near impossible to get the washers to stay and line up the rim and those silly original lug bolts.

thanks ozzy i had got advised to get 1/4 spacers.Waiting on them to arrive.
today i pulled the rx2 transmission and had a bit of a comparison
shifter location from bell housing
rx2 26"
fb 31 3/4"
transmission mount center from bell housing
rx2 20"
fb 21 1/2"
also the fb yoke fits the rx2 transmission and messure the same length at 30 1/2" iirc
so i need to shorten the shifter 5 3/4" and move the mount 1 1/2" forward should be easey.

old school (2's, 3's and 4's) are +25
later model (such as FC and i think FD) is +38
that's millimetres..
also, why a half bridge? you're already fighting with one arm tied in having under 1.2 litres to play with.
