That Bagged REPU Project
Completely different build than whats out there and probably would be disliked by many but like with anything, I do not care.
Bought the truck from a member here back in end of 2013, and was shipped from Oregon to the East coast. Bought it sight unseen, my fault clearly as there were a bunch of things not documented and problems found during the build. Too long to list, nor worth the time. Oh well, I learned and the issues have already been identified, currently in the middle of being fixed.

All the work was done by Afterhours Fab, A lot of things had to be done * A LOT* for this to be bagged, not as "simple" as one would think. Still needs some more done to be fully road worthy, but here are some images. More to come....
Front wheel well clearance modification, more detailed images to come of the sheet metal to close up the vent ducts/wheel wells
Rear half images, notch, bag mount, triangulated 4-Link, etc mockup

I'll grab some new pics of the front suspension in the next week.
The pics above are of the truck laying frame, so theoretically if raised slightly it could drive. It does lack enough steering angle and has negative camber to drive long distance at very low heights. It does have the Accuair elevel installed but has not been programmed yet. pics and vids to follow.
The Truck will have a new chassis harness going in as there were several areas of unsafe wiring and would probably burned the truck down (Wire harness MFR. to follow) . Theres wire pass through on both notches to clear and everything is covered in UV and automotive fluid resistant braided loom from Cable organizer.com. Should work well as it not really found near engine or exhaust components but is fine up to 302 degrees F.
Wheels will be rebuilt for different specs and once the exhaust should be last few things to do.

Yep Stock engine, previous owner swapped in a 5 speed. Carb was rebuilt by Custom Rebuilt Carburetors buys, sells, and rebuilds all kinds of carburetors, Afterhours will fab up a header and exhaust for clearance, and will have an MSD setup I bought from a member here.
If SHTF, I'll take a look at some TII motors or something.

Some More Pictures
Drove the truck for the first time for more than a few football fields. Still needs an alignment but motor runs smooth and starts quickly.
Few pictures from a few weeks ago:
Quick Picture of the front suspension on the lift. Uses stock suspension points and heavily modified upper/lower control arms.
New Drive shaft from axle exchange - they have a super cool logo btw. Converted to a 1pc drive shaft. Note the cab needing additional clearance - sheet metal work to follow.
Found the culprit to the sloppy steering wheel play. Steering column bushing bit the dust since the beginning and problem wasn't great prior. Dave machined an oil impregnated bronze bushing to replace the plastic one. Cleaned a ton of slop in the column and should last forever. He has a bunch of material left for a few more if anyone is interested in a replacement piece. Not sure of the compatibility to other models though.
Wiring began, Old stuff coming out - New harness is super clean. Afterhours had to keep some of the old modules underneath the dash for the steering column controls but otherwise everything is new. Pictures to follow once everything is in loom.
MSD ignition going for some direct fire fun. Windshield washer bottle gone to mount the ignition coils, AH used the stock mount though.
Some new pictures from yesterday's car meet/bbq/block party at Gonzytuning. Super last minute but it was done the street from Dave's shop. Super nice people and pretty chill event. Truck was completely out of place with the BIGGGG power supras, sc's, and a nasty 2JZ is300 (Dry sump, 12 inj hypertune,not sure the size of Precision turbo though). But great opportunity for people to see the truck as a large number did not believe it had a rotary engine or that it had one from the factory. Rare thing to see over here.

Elevel Rocker Switch Location.
I want to keep the interior as stock looking as possible and preserve the character. The ignition lock cylinder took a dump and could not be repaired. It was replaced with a JEGS unit and a pretty straightforward retrofit. Dave welded in material and re machined to fit the smaller diameter aftermarket cylinder.
Needed a place to hide the Accuair Elevel rocker switch but still easily to get to. A small aluminum panel was made to fit inside the stock ashtray and is easily tucked away when not in use. For those that do not know, its uses height based sensors at all four corners and makes minute adjustments to ensure it is always level regardless of payload or passengers. It also stores present heights for various situations, super simple for the GF to jump in and push a button and forget about it entirely. The programming button will be mounted permanently once the wiring is further finalized.

Another update for you guys,
Here's how the elevel rocker switch is mounted, and the Air Zenith air pressure gauge in the glove box. It monitors the air pressure in the air tank. Granted the elevel has a semi-self diagnostic system but just helps to see what the tank is doing/monitor possible leaks.
Here's a detailed image of the frame notch and the wiring/air line frame pass through. Chassis harness and elevel wires are in loom, DOT air line exposed for easy access. Metal edges are covered with a protective covering and the custom rear brake hard lines.
Another shot of the triangulated 4link, new cross member that hangs the temporary muffler. Want to both iron out all the changes and truthfully just want to drive the truck before it gets too cold before the custom header/exhaust get fabricated. New wires to the battery and a simple battery terminal kill switch. Another angle of the one piece drive shaft.
Another finalized shot of the back half, clean and tidy. Temp muffler hanging from the new cross member.

Time for an update - I ended up driving the truck as much as i could through the end of 2015 and has unfortunately sat in NJ ever since. I ended up moving to SF for work NYE 2016 and basically was put on the back burner, no real need for a vehicle out here. The car bug has come back and we decided to restart the project to enjoy it out here in the warmer climate. Working with Ihor and IR Performance for a few small upgrades and i could say thus far, the customer service has been great.
