What are these doing??...
Hi all!
I have a '74 Triumph SpitFire that has a Mazda Rx7 rotary motor in it. I recently lost my lights and multiple other things. I am pretty good with a test light and point to point testing to find electrical problems. I tracked my issues down to a bad headlight switch and some faulty wiring and a bad ground. I now have all that sorted out and everything works fine now. But I have a question. These two boxes are on the engine bulkhead and one goes to the electric fuel pump and the other goes to the ignition it appears. I think they are relays but I really don't know. So, my questions are:
1. Are these relays?
2. What do they do?
3. They each have multiple wires connected to multiple post on each. How can I find info for what each post is doing?
As always, your help is always greatly appreciated.😊

As it's a custom installation, there's no way for us to know what the relays do from an image alone.
Almost all automotive 12V relays share a common pinout though, shown below:
You can then follow the wires either visually or with a continuity check.
