wanting to buy need info. asap.
Need to know what you guys think. Looking at a 1988 fc rx7. Need to know how much this car would cost. Has 116,700 miles. Motor runs very smoothly just need new tranny mounts. And seals it smokes a little only on acceleration. Interior is good condition except a few things falling off. And Sun roof does not work. Drivers door does not open and neither does rear hatch. Also smoke comes out of the shifter boot. Please let me know asap would like to purchase this by the end of the week.

Thats hard to say. Being there is smoke coming from the shifter tells me theres an exhaust leak, and the rubber boot below the plastic is bad
Sunroof should be an easish fix, hatch no so much
Now the big one, smoking on startup, thats usually indication the engine is getting tired and close to a rebuild
If it were me, i wouldn't pay (personally) over a grand for it, because you'll probably be putting much more than that in it

You need to familarize yourself with the Rules of this Forum.
